Do's & Don'ts of packaging

Shipment's packaging guide

At Skynet, we will take care of every shipment but to ensure this, there are a few rules and procedures that we hope our client can follow in order to safeguard the quality and physical state of the item.

  • DO ensure your shipment contains only non-monetary items such as clothes, electronics, or personal items for safe and secure delivery.

    DON'T ship cash, jewellery, currency (We shall not be liable or responsible for these items).

  • DO wrap each item individually & separately with corrugated divider materials.

    DON'T allow fragile item to touch each other.

  • DO use void filling material to provide sufficient content's support.

    DON'T pack items loosely in carton.

  • DO your part to ensure the package is properly packed.

    DON'T label item as fragile to be treated more carefully instead of carefully packing.

  • DO use strong & sturdy double-wall corrugated boxes.

    DON'T use damaged cartons or recycled cartons.

  • DO weight & measure your package.

    DON'T uplift your package without knowing the weight or measurement.

  • DO use strong parcel tape on all edges of your parcel.

    DON'T secure packages with string & rope.

  • DO place a new address labels with clearly written shipper's & receiver's.

    DON'T recycle old labels on the shipping cartons.

  • DO use bubble-wrap, polystyrene and/or packing peanuts.

    DON'T ship items wrapped in papers or newspapers.

  • DO seal packages securely with pressure-sensitive plastic tape.

    DON'T use household cellophane tape.

  • DO consider separating into 2 boxes.

    DON'T overload the box.
